Red tees: par-35, 2,145 yards, 32.0 / 106
Applewood closed in 2011.
Weeks after course Vice President Steven L. Lloyd, whose family owns Applewood Golf Coursed, won $37.6 million in the Nov. 19, 2010 Powerball drawing, it was announced that the course would close. At the time of the winning, Lloyd was cautious to publicly link himself to the course - saying his family still had to run the business, and other businesses, without the distraction of his new-found fortune.
But, in a recent email to friends and golfers, course officials announced the course was closing.
Lloyd actually won $59.9 million in the jackpot but elected to take the $37.6 million lump sum cash payment.
